Refund & Cancellation Policy

How to cancel
Cancellation requests must be sent by email to iwcn2027@iwcn.nycu.site from the email address used to register. The refund depends on the date the request is received.
Refund schedule

- Author registrations covering an accepted paper cannot be refunded after March 8, 2027.
- Extra Meal Packages follow the same schedule as the registration they were purchased with.
- Registrants who cannot travel, for example because a visa is denied, may switch to streaming participation instead of cancelling. The difference between the in-person and streaming fees is not refunded.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method after the conference. Bank and card charges are borne by the registrant. Where a Taiwan e-invoice has been issued it will be voided or a credit note issued.
- Papers that are not presented are subject to the No-Show Policy on the conference Submission page.
- If the organizer cancels the event, registration fees are refunded in full. Programme, speaker, schedule or venue changes, or a move to a different date or online format, do not entitle registrants to a refund.
All fees are priced and charged in New Taiwan Dollars (TWD); refund amounts are calculated on the TWD amount paid. USD amounts (USD 1 = NT$32) are for reference only.
Name substitution
Name substitutions are free of charge until April 9, 2027. If the registration covers an accepted paper, the substitute must be a co-author of that paper and will present it. Email iwcn2027@iwcn.nycu.site with the order ID and the new attendee's name, email and affiliation.
Failed or duplicate payments
If a payment fails, no charge is made and you can retry from My Orders. If you believe you were charged twice, contact us with both order IDs; duplicate charges are refunded in full.
